Wave Semi: The Aurelia Wave semiautomatic is our basic model of the Aurelia. While it may lack volumetric dosing and an LCD display, this machine is more than capable of delivering high-quality espresso, especially at the hands of barista. Being semiautomatic, the machine is in complete control of the barista during the extraction processes, a well-trained requiring them to both start and end it.

Wave Vol: The Aurelia Wave Vol builds off the Aurelia II Vol, adding a number of new improvements and features. Coming standard with a high-resolution screen display, this machine gives the barista unparalleled control over the machine at their fingertips. allowing the baristas to easily program dosages, boiler pressure, pre-infusion, and even energy savings settings. making this one of our most flexible and consistent volumetric espresso machines.

Coming standard with a high-resolution touch-screen display this machine gives the barista unparalleled control over the machine at their fingertips. The baristas can easily program dosages, boiler pressure, pre-infusion, and even energy savings settings. Making this one of our most flexible and consistent volumetric espresso machines.

The Nuova Simonelli Aurelia Wave comes in two key versions:
the Volumetric and the Digit.

  1. Volumetric Version: This model uses volumetric dosing, meaning that the user sets a specific volume of water for each shot. It's designed for consistency and efficiency, particularly in high-demand environments where precise doses are needed every time.
  2. Digit Version: This model includes additional features aimed at enhancing the user experience, like surface LEDs for better work area visibility and the optional EasyCream wand, which automates milk steaming and texturing. The Digit version also allows for more flexibility with three programmable hot water temperatures and volumes, making it ideal for creating a variety of hot water-based drinks. Unlike the volumetric version, the Digit provides a more intuitive experience for baristas, with programmable functions that improve ease of use and workflow​.

The Aurelia II has been an incredibly popular and well-loved commercial espresso machine for years. However, the team at Nuova Simonelli decided to take the Aurelia and make it sleeker, more precise, and more flexible; the result is the Aurelia Wave. Delivering increased ergonomics and performance, an automatic soft-infusion system, a self-cleaning feature, and Smart Water Technology that alerts the barista to water quality changes in real time, the Aurelia Wave Digit espresso machine brings reliability and consistency in any commercial environment.
The Aurelia Wave Digit builds off the Aurelia II by adding a number of new improvements and features. Coming standard with a high-resolution LCD screen, this machine gives the barista unparalleled control over the machine. Baristas can easily program digital outputs for consistent shots with a simple press of a button while Nuova Simonelli’s Soft-Infusion System (SIS) ensures that each shot is properly saturated before full pressure is applied.
The Aurelia Wave Digit espresso machine is also compatible with Nuova Simonelli’s smart wands to make workflow faster and easier than ever. The Auto-Steam wand steams milk to a desired temperature before shutting off automatically, while the Easy Cream wand allows the barista to program the temperature and density of the milk or milk substitute being used. Finally, the Gooseneck wand combines these two, frothing milk while the barista performs other tasks and stops at the desired temperature.
