MINIMO E61 coffee group gasket 8.3mm
The Minimo group gasket is designed to minimise the effort that must be exerted by the barista to hook the portafilter to the coffee machine group head.
It has a PTFE shim on top of the rubber, so that the portafilter glides effortlessly into place
The MINIMO portafilter gasket is made by DVG in conjunction with Del Creatives, who designed the Matrix E61 shower screen.
The MINIMO portafilter gasket helps to preserve the barista's wrists, reducing friction. It’s made with an EPDM base and a PTFE layer moulded together. The PTFE layer, combined with an EPDM base, makes it more durable than the standard gaskets.
It’s a completely new design ideal for both commercial and E61 groups

Why replace your group gasket on a coffee machine?
If you notice water leaking from the area above the portafilter, known as the group head, then your gasket is probably to blame. When you change your coffee cream will improve as you will have achieved the maximum extraction pressure of 9 bars. (The pressure will be constant as the filter basket has a full seal.)

Why buy a Minimo group gasket?
- Less barista fatigue - It lowers the friction between the filter basket and the gasket by 80%.
- Lasts twice as long compared to traditional silicon or rubber gaskets - the PTFE side will not wear, unlike rubber or silicon.
- It protects the gasket from over-drying, which can cause cracks in the gasket over time, thereby extending its lifespan.
- It is much easier and smoother to lock the Portafilter with it.
